Description

Steel hilt (Norman type 109) consisting of rear quillon, loop-guard and knuckle-guard, the grip of wood encased in horn plates (one missing). Blade, with on both sides a narrow fuller adjacent to the flat back for three-quarters of the length of the blade, and broad central fuller reaching almost to the point.
