Description

Border of blue silk brocaded with a repeat "pine cone" design in gold metallic thread. Centre of 28 small pieces of velvet with a metallic thread (silver?) brocaded ground. The velvet possibly painted rather than woven with a small repeated floral motif, showing some European influence (?).
