Description

Complex technique of 'piecing' or 'patchwork' sometimes called 'inlaid' work. Wool; cream, green, red, blue and light brown. Meandering floral design, birds. All outlined and embellished with polychrome chain stitch embroidery with some laid and couched cord. Backing of printed cotton, overall floral repeat in brown and beige.
