Description

Cotton, fine unbleached, worked with coloured silks in cross, eyelet hole and satin stitches, bound rose coloured ribbon. Outside: at the semicircular top Temptation of Adam and Eve, inscription (Genesis ch. 3, v. 8 & 9), name and date in oblong panel. At bottom, a large flowering plant with bird, dog and star-shaped devices. Inside: four pockets with symmetrical arrangement of devices - fruit basket, flowering plant, bird, plant, fruit basket, house, bird, flower vase.
