Cotton, white. Skirt in one piece with wide lower band of white openwork embroidery (machine made Swiss embroidery closely resembling hand-worked "broderie anglaise"). Bodice in three pieces, decorated with tucks interspersed with white work embroidery. Long inset sleeves and collar worked with similar embroidery. Collar and cuffs trimmed with narrow bobbin lace. Cotton drawstring at neck. Back fastened with three pearl buttons and three buttonhole stitch loops.
