Description

Muslin with Ayrshire whitework embroidery forming a stomacher panel on bodice and a widening panel from waist to hem, both framed by applied bands of similar embroidery. Whitework also on the sleeves, hem, neck edge, back and waist seams. Neck trimmed with narrow bobbin lace. Cotton drawstrings at neck and waist. Embroidery consists of trailing flowers and foliage, sprigs and spots in satin and stem stitch and pulled thread work.
