Canvas embroidered with silk, metal thread and plate; in bullion knots, buttonhole, couching, Florentine, French knots, tent and trellis stitches with twisted and looped silk and darned silk pile; in blue, brown, green, pink, red and yellow.
In the centre, on a mound, a two-handled vase of flowers, stems arranged symmetrically and flowers evenly disributed over the background - borage, carnation, cherry, cornflower, daffodil, foxglove, honeysuckle, iris, nut, pansy and strawberry - with butterflies, caterpillars, flies, snails, etc. A leopard in the left lower corner, a stag in the right corner.
