Linen, embroidered with polychrome silk, gilt and silver metal thread and gilt plate, in double back, double running, and satin stitches. At each end an 18" border of embroidery, the design composed of a large and elaborate rose spray growing from a shallow bowl. At the edges a 1.25" deep band of lozenges and triangles in gilt thread which entirely cover the ground.
