Description

Linen, embroidered with silk and gilt thread in double darning, double running, hemstitch (for edges), and satin stitches. Each border consists of three widths, with one unit of the pattern in each - a very magnified and elaborate rose spray with the characteristic hook at the base of the main stem. A narrow border in gold thread.
