Description

Linen embroidered with silk, gilt and silver metal thread in double darning and satin stitches. Above a 1" border in gilt thread, a frieze of pomegranate sprays, each filling a rectangular space 4.25" x 6" and lying parallel to the edges. Above these in each corner is a shallow bowl of fruit - figs, pears, oranges, et c.
