Cotton or linen, loosely woven, embroidered with polychrome silk and gilt thread in double darning, double running, and satin stitches. 5" deep borders at each end with silver lace edging. At the edge 0.5" deep band of waved stem with leaf and berry, and above it four repeats of a spray of leaves and roses.
