Cotton or linen, loosely woven, embroidered with polychrome silk, silver and gilt thread in double darning, fishbone and satin stitches. At each end four sprays of rose and hyacinth flowers and leaves springing from a cornucopia, above a 0.5" deep horizontal band in gilt thread.
