Cotton, embroidered with polychrome silk, silver plate and silver thread, in double darning, double running, satin, fish bone, stem and tent stitches. At each end a horizontal 0.75" deep band of sixteen repeats of a blue flower with three cypress trees between them. Above three repeats of a 5" deep landscape motif comprising a house, a kiosk and cypress trees, with hillocks and cypress trees above, and between the motifs a large tree with a kiosk and cypress trees to either side of it.
