Cotton, with three 0.5" stripes at selvedges, embroidered with polychrome silk and gilt thread, in double darning, double running and satin stitches. At each end a very narrow band of satin stitch, and above two repeats and a third of another repeat of a 6.75" deep symmetrical spray of tulips and carnations. Fringes ravelled and twisted.
