Description

Cotton, with horizontal stripes in coarser thread, embroidered with polychrome silk, gilt and silver threads, in double darning, double running, fishbone and satin stitches. At each end a 0.25" double running stitch band of a small repeat pattern, and above it three 5.5" deep sprays of formal flowers. Fringes ravelled and twisted.
