Description

Cotton, embroidered with silk and gilt and silver plate and thread, in button hole (edging at ends only), double darning, double running, satin, and pulled fabric stitches. At each end a 4" deep border, the background drawn into a square mesh edged by a 1.25" band with a zig-zag stem and flower pattern. Within a band of flower sprigs placed alternately upright and reversed.
