Cotton, embroidered polychrome silk, gilt and silver thread, in buttonhole (edges of ends only), double darning, double running, satin and pulled fabric stitches. At each end a 3.75" deep border, background a square mesh. At sides and lower edge a 0.75" band decorated with flower sprigs, and above ten stylised flowering plants in two-handled shallow vases, each standing in an arched compartment with trilobed finials.
