Description

Cotton, embroidered with polychrome silks, gilt metal thread and gilt plate, in shaded double running, double
running, stem and satin stitches. Edging of needle lace with addition of bobbin lace. Each end embroidered with five repeated flower heads set in a frame of stylised leaves springing from a flower pot, above a border of a wavy stem with repeated flower and bird motifs.
