Bone china tea cup and saucer of London shape, painted overglaze in polychrome enamels with stylized flowers and foliage
Bone china, painted in turquoise-green, green, yellow, pink, dark pink, and purple enamels. The cup is of London shape. The saucer has deep sloping sides and stands on a footring. The exterior of the cup is painted with a wide horizontal band of flowers and foliage, comprising three repeats of a pansy, a pink bud, and a large open pink flower with three curved rows of black stamens on a wavy stem with turquoise-green and green pointed leaves. There is a dark pink line below, and a stroke down the back of the handel. The sides of the saucer are decorated with a matching border edged at the bottom by a dark pink circle, and has a sprig of three leaves in the centre. Pattern no. 354
