Description

Redware with applied white reliefs under lead-glaze

Dark brownish-red earthenware with mould-applied reliefs and cream slip banding under lead-glaze. The circular saucer has shallow curved sides and stands on a footing. The interior is decorated with six similar mould-applied stylized plants with two shoots, two leaves and a single flower. The rim is encircled by a band of white slip.
