Description

Redware with applied white reliefs of the Royal Arms and supporters under lead-glaze

Red earthenware, thrown and turned, with applied handle, and white applied reliefs under yellowish lead glaze. The cylindrical mjug is decorated with horizontal turned bands at the rim, and below the upper and lower ends of the handle, which is reeded on its back and has a heart-shaped kick at the lower end. On the front there are mould-applied sprigs (reliefs) of the Royal Arms and supporters, with below a stylizedplant with a leaf on the left and a flower head on the right
