The cylindrical can is fluted on the lower two-thirds of the exterior, and has a twisted double strap handle with leaf terminals at top and bottom. The sides are painted with one large mixed floral spray with on the left two floral sprigs and a colourful butterfly, and on the right, a beetle, a bird with a red breast, and a rose sprig.
