Coach watch in later silver case.
MOVEMENT: Full plate movement engraved 'Eduardus East Facit'. Balance cock triangular, plain with polished steel regulator on table, polished steel end piece, ruby end stone. Brass balance. Polished steel balance spring cock. Plain escape, and third wheel bridge under balance. Brass hour locking plate with hours stamped below slots. Geneva type stop work on hour striking, nib plate missing. Brass spring retaining wheel on brass post. Silver quarters dial with modern, blued steel spade hand. Geneva type stop work on quarters, original regulation dial on wheel, nib plate missing. Tangent set-up, silver dial on worm wheel, engraved 1 to 8. Worm with one decorative blued steel bracket and one square brass post, with engraved top, for other pivot. Plate engraved as above and ends of pillars and posts engraved with rose. Four engraved Egyptian pillars. Fusee iron post, rectangular with tapering top. Cock to carry escapement between plates. Hour striking barrel pierced and engraved with tulips. Steel gate, hammer arbour of turned baluster form. Quarter work with steel gates. Alarm potance rectangular with one face engraved. Front plate split, (split fusee, time and hour, striking, time barrel, quarters and alarm trains) four rectangular fixing holes for dial plate. One steel latch, pinned to pillars. Split fusee and chain, barrel with two lips, tangent set-up on top plate. Fusee cut for gut and barrel with gut tying holes. Escapement 90 deg. English lever. Time train planted about radially. Striking train with five pinions governed by inertia and depthing of last pinion, hammer between plates. Striking train planted anti-clockwise. Quarter train with five pinions governed by inertia and depthing pinion, hammer under dial. Quarters train planted anti-clockwise. Alarm train with two pinions, train planted anti-clockwise. Alarm hammer between plates.
DIAL PLATE: Gilt brass, cut to C and re-used to hold movement to domed front of case. Three screws fixing to case, four rectangular pillars fixing to movement with one latch. Other pillars have screws threaded into pillar and plate.

ALARM DISC: Silver, radial Arabic hours engraved, with small arrows at half hours. On plain outer ring, pin at 6 o'clock and triangular post at 12 o'clock. Centre engraved with floral design.
HANDS: Blued steel, arrow head minute hand. Serpentine hour hand, with counter balance.
BELL: Two striking bell covers, movement and quarter bell under dial above movement. Striking bell, deep scratches on the outside 'Le Gros London' and faintly 'Drury London', 'J. Cordern Leamington' and '3 1/2'. Scratched inside 'G778'. Quarter bell scratched on inside 'Lady Norton', Sa Aldworth' and indistinctly 'Cleaned Ley' or 'Lej'.
CASE: Silver, oval section, front hinged at 12 o'clock and snap fit to body. Pierced and engraved with floral design on body and side of front. Front with dial engraved, lader minute ring, radial Arabic 5 minute figures, radial Roman chapters, ladder quarter hour ring. Centre recessed for alarm dial. Pendant, turned with flats at sides of end. 'H' stamped on front, ring bow.
