Copy after Philips Galle's engraving for a 1572 edition of the series of portraits 'Virorum Doctorum de Disciplinis benemerentium Effigies XLIIII', reverse direction. Plate numbered lower right corner: 10 (and AA from the lettering on the second state of Galle's print, A4). Latin in margin 'Regnat ubi in terris... haec eadem'.
