Lettered with artist's name in scratched lettering, and title and publication line, 'Chez 'l'Auteur [Nenot], rue S.t Antoine, vis à vis la Vieille rue du Temple'. No. 1 from a set (or cahier) of six plates, advertised in the Journal Encyclopédique, p.185 and the Mercure de France 7 May 1785, 3 livres uncoloured, 3 livres 12 sols coloured, and a 'different price' on glass.
