Tin-glazed earthenware plated painted in polychrome with a heron standing amid plants
Buff earthenware, tin-glazed bluish-white and painted in blue, bluish green, yellow and orange-red. Circular with a narrow steeply sloping rim, shallow curved sides and flat base. The middle is painted with a heron-like exotic bird standing in a yellow pond with stylized plants on either side of it. The rim has stylized plant sprays extending inwards from the edge. There are three peg marks on the underside of the rim.
