Pottery: Vauxhall Pottery (Possibly)
Tin-glazed earthenware plate painted and sponged with a house beside a tree
Buff earthenware, tin-glazed and painted in blue, green and red and sponged in manganese-purple. Circular with a narrow sloping rim, shallow curved sides and flat base. The middle is decorated on the left wth a tree with sponged manganese foliage, standing beside a blue lake or pond which occupies the foreground. On the right is a building painted in red, green and blue, with a blue and red insect hovering over it. A blue circle encloses the scene. On the rim there are two narrow blue bands, solid blue semi-circles enclosed by red semi-circular lines with green projections, and another blue band. On the reverse there are three small peg marks.
