"The Words of the Preacher, Son of David, King of Jerusalem" -- f.3. Chromolithographed throughout after designs by Owen Jones, original roan-backed wooden boards by Remnant, Edmonds & Remnants with simulated carved foliate decoration incorporating title on upper cover.
A heat-stamping process was used to create the carved effect in the wood of the binding. See Rauri Maclean's Victorian Publisher's Book-Bindings in Cloth and Leather, p.31, where he conjectures that this is the only binding known to have been produced by this process, and Maggs Brothers Ltd. Catalogue 1075. Bookbinding in the British Isles, Part II, p. 192,
