The paper leaves impressed, except in reserves occupied by hand painted floral decoration, where the paper remains plain. On shaped sliding bone sticks and carved and pierced sliding bone guards. Has an original fitted box labelled "Thom. [Cl]arke fan maker No 143 Leadenhall Street, London".
