Description

The first cutting is an invitation dated 1821, engraved in wood and printed in red, with wax seal. Inscriptions "Sir The Honor of your Company is requested to meet the STEWARDS with the rest of the SONS of the CLERGY on Thursday the 17th of May 1821, at Eleven o'the clock at the Cathedral Church of ST PAUL, LONDON, and after Sermon to accompany them from Church to MERCHANT TAYLORS HALL in Threadneedle Street to Dinner". The second cutting is a Royal Plaster embossed on green paper, with the inscription "Royal Court Plaister / Warranted Genuine".
