First invitation embossed on pink paper, dated 1834, with inscriptions "Royal Universal Infirmary for children, Waterloo Bridge Road… / the Eighteenth anniversary festival of this charity will be celebrated at the London Coffe House, Lufgate Hill, on Wednesday, the 30th day of April, 1834...". Second invitation engraved on wood and printed in blue, dated 1834-1835 with inscriptions "Meetings of the Surrey Club at the Clarendon, on the Third Wednesday in the following months..."
