Description

One cutting of the Argyll Rooms showing two versions of the building, with the inscriptions "The Building since the Fire / The original Building, before the Fire of Jan. 1830" and "John Turrill, stationer, bookseller, and fashionable repository". One cutting advertising Filter inkstand, Patent Perryian, sold by James Perry and co, London. One cutting advertising Old Crusted Masdeu. One cutting with an emblem and the inscriptions "cavendo tutus" and "Lee". The last cutting engraved by S Wyon, dated 1839, of plants.
