Valentine card
Printmaker: Unknown
A small, raised valentine composed of a white lace-paper front to which is attached with paper springs, a 'frame' of embossed, pink, die-cut paper with silvering in a design of corals and shells. Through the central oval aperture is a collage composed of a large green paper, glittered leaf and spray of flowers made of cloth shot through with silver thread and with wax stamens, the stems wound around with cotton. A printed paper motto with golded border is affixed below: 'GIVE ME THINE HEART'.
