PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS: Album with grey cloth covers and brown leaves. 'ALBUM' stamped in brown ink within an Art Nouveau-style (circa 1890-1918) medallion at the centre of the front cover. Printed on the front end paper: 'No. 134. / The "BEDFORD" Series / PHOTO SCRAP ALBUMS ... J.W. & Co. LTD. LONDON'. Graphite inscriptions at upper left corner of front end paper: '44'; '6 /-' [6 shillings] ; 'y/s'. Small black sticker with printed gold lettering at centre of front end paper: W. HEFFER & SONS LTD. / Booksellers (New & Second-hand) / CAMBRIDGE, England. One of 13 albums bound with grey cloth covers and brown Art Nouveau-style stamped title design. CONTENTS: Contains many small, postcard-style valentines and several designs by Kate Greenaway for Marcus Ward & Co.
