Valentine card
Printmaker: Unknown
Loose within album P.14347-R. A hand-coloured lithograph on 4to-sized wove paper. A vignette at upper centre of a woman wearing a pink dress and yellow bonnet standing beside a tree, a church seen in the background to the right. The title "CONSTANCY" is printed on a pink 'ribbon' at upper right as part of a decorative border design. A printed verse below the vignette: "Gaily do I send to thee, love, / With my hearts [sic] expectancy - / What I'd ever wish to be, love / Honor [sic] - Truth - and Constancy! …". The inside pages are blank.
