Description

Colourless lead-glass, blown, and moulded. The lower part of the narrow bell-shaped bowl is spirally ribbed, and is supported by a small extra gather and a five-knopped stem rising from a conical foot with a folded rim.

History note: Barry Richards, Hartley Manor Dartford bequeathed to a friend, 1991; Howard Phillips, Aylesbury Bucks from whom purchased, August 1992; Sir Ivor and Lady Batchelor, St Andrew's, Fife; Sir Ivor died 24 April 2005; on loan since 2006 (Syndicate of 30 January)
