Description

Green blown lead-glass. The candlestick has a deep cylindrical nozzle with an everted rim, supported on a bobbin stem comprising four ball knops rising from a small domed foot with a folded under rim.

History note: Howard Phillips from whom purchased in June, 1986; Sir Ivor and Lady Batchelor, St Andrew's, Fife; Sir Ivor died on 24 April 2005; on loan since 2006 (Syndicate of 30 January)
