Description

Clear lead-glass blown and mould-blown.The waisted thistle-shaped tankard has mould-blown gadrooning on its lower part, and stands on a low foot. The handle is of D-section and has a folded kick at the lower end.

History note: Howard Phillips from whom purchased in March 1981; Sir Ivor and Lady Batchelor, St Andrew's, Fife; Sir Ivor died on 24 April 2005; on loan since 2006 (Syndicate of 30 January)
