Glasshouse: Unidentified English glasshouse
Clear lead-glass jug engraved with barley ears, and fruiting vine in a cornucopia
Clear lead-glass blown with engraved decoration. The jug stands on a circular stepped foot rising into a short stem with an anulet. The urn-shaped body contracts into a short neck with a projecting lip and wavy rim. The applied strap handle has a cut depression for a humb rest on its top. On the front below the lip there is an engraved cornucopia containing seven stems of barley, flanked by sprays of fruiting vine.
