Description

Dark bluish-green lead-glass, blown with applied pincered edges. The bulbous vase has four upward pointing spouts on the shoulder, each with an applied pinched edging round the mouth, and a central narrow neck and mouth.

History note: Howard Phillips, Meadle, Buckinghamshire, from whom purchased in May, 1991; Sir Ivor and Lady Batchlor, St Andrew's Fife; Sir Ivor died on 24 April 2005; on loan since 2006 (Syndicate of 30 January)
