Description

Clear glass spirit carafe. Moulded in the form of a book, with Gothic windows on the sides.

Clear, bubbly glass, blown-moulded in the form of a book with a short cylindrical neck with an applied trail round the mouth. The integral decoration on both long sides comprises a four-light window in the decorated Gothic style with circular quatrefoil lights above under an ogee arch with crockets. At each corner, flanking the window, is a column with a pinnacle at the top. At the bottom of the spin there are two letters , possibly D or P and R. There is a pontil mark in the middle of the underside.
