Digital cylinder watch, in enamelled gold case.
MOVEMENT: Cocked movement, not named. Inner cover engraved 'Vicente del Valle GIBRALTAR No 20803'. Balance cock engraved with regulation scale marked 'A' and 'R', polished steel end piece secured by two screws, round ruby end stone, blued steel regulator. Brass balance scape. Wheel cock jewelled. Cock for second, third and fourth wheels at edge. Barrel bridge with hung barrel. Front plate, under dial. Grained coquette, ruby end stone. Minute disc with hour cam behind on second arbour. Jump hour lever and spring. Plate stamped '20803'. Cylinder escapement, steel wheel. Train planted clockwise around edge of movement.
MINUTE DISC: Silver, engraved ring and radial Arabic figures every 5 mins.
HOUR DISC: Silver, engraved radial Arabic chapters, star wheel behind, changing at the hour.
CASE: Gold and enamelled double backed case. Front cover with two glazed openings, a segment to view the minute disc and a door shaped aperture to view the hour disc. Front and back predominantly black enamel with two large curved light blue trumpets, small flowers and leaves, in green, white, yellow and orange. Flattened oval pendant with round ring, both enamelled en suite with case. Inside cover stamped '20803' and scratched '1856 tmxx', 'ern by 402' above 'AD 1778 sx/sx/-'. Inner cover engraved 'CYLINDRE, QUATRE JOYAUX' in arc at edge, an arrow around the winding, AJGVILLES' around hand-set hole and as above. Inside stamped '20803'.
