MOVEMENT: Full plate movement engraved 'Thos Leyden LONDON 14785'. Balance cock with pierced and chased table, vase at neck, foot chased. Slide plate chased, silver regulation dial, marked 1 to 6 in Arabic figures. Fusee iron post, pierced. Polished steel case bolt with flat decorated foot. Potance with end of foot with moulding, screwed, and rectangular counter-potance riveted, to back plate. Pillar plate with four square section baluster pillars. Fusee and chain, set-up click under dial, barrel with one lip. Verge escapement. Train planted anti-clockwise.
DIAL: White enamel on copper, slightly convex, three feet. Radial Arabic 5 minute figures, dotted minute ring, short radial Roman chapters.
HANDS: Gold, bettle and poker, well made.
BRASS EDGE: Gilt with three feet.
INNER CASE: Gilt metal, not marked
OUTER CASE (A): Gilt metal covered with shagreen.
