MOVEMENT: Full plate movement engraved 'Robert Grinkin Londini'. Balance cock with pierced and engraved oval table with long neck, oval foot, both with irregular edges, screwed to plate. Steel balance. Tangent set-up on back plate, endless screw having two steel bearings with tracery feet. Gilt brass endless screw cover incorporating regulator finger. Silver set-up disc with radial Arabic figures 1 to 8, decorations on disc filled in red. Small tapered rectangular, with moulded section, fusee iron post. Blued steel fusee iron spring with vertical decorated tail, single pin to fix. Case bolt being 3/4 turn curve flat screwed to plate, nib through dial. Rectangular potance, engraved on one face, riveted to plate. Counter-potance riveted to plate, plug with square decorated end. Pillar plate with four narrow Egyptian pillars with wide central slit and hole, turned tops. Hole to clear potance in plate, under dial scratched 'Grinkin 02'. Split fusee and gut (no gut), short train, large verge escape wheel. Under dial, the fusee arbour is filed to form a six pin pinion. Train planted anti-clockwise.

CASE: Plain gilt brass case with well rounded side, gilt brass disc to cover the winding hole. Plain, split bezel. Turned brass pendant and very long brass stirrup bow.
