Description

Outer gilt brass case covered in tortoiseshell.

OUTER CASE: Worn gilt brass case, replaced back. Bezel and body covered with tortoiseshell. Bezel strip with ring of twenty-three pins (six missing) of various types, some gold. The body covered in tortoiseshell, with rings of twenty-four pins (nine missing) of various types, some gold. Both the bezel and body have unused holes for a different pattern of pins. Pendant slot in body with nick in bezel. Loose watch glass inside case.
