Description

Deep wood-fired stoneware bowl, with a strong everted rim and three feet. Shino glaze giving tan, grey, and mottled ochre outside, tan and dark brown on the inside.
Three shell marks inside. No mark.

Notes

History note: Bought by Shakeshaft from a 'Gnarly Dudes' exhibition at Powdermills Pottery, 15th August 1998.
