Description

Wood-fired stoneware jug, twice fired. Once in Svend Bayer's kiln with Shino glaze on the upper third, then in Nic Collins kiln to give a strong grey-green ash run under the spout. Otherwise dark red/brown, iron spots, and carbon trapping.

History note: Bought from an 'Earth & Fire' fair at Rufford Abbey Country Park, 23th June 2001
