Salt-glazed stoneware lidded jar with two handles on the shoulders. Grey glaze inside, heavily pitted brown/black glaze below shoulder, and on lid rim. Tan/green glaze otherwise.

History note: Bought by Shakeshaft from an exhibition at Cheltenham Art Gallery, 17th October 1997
