Potter: Geoffroy, Pascal
Large wood-fired stoneware vase of cylindrical form, with a short tapering collared neck. Red body with feldspar grains. Decorated by two splashes of Shino (?) glaze on the shoulder (with the vase horizontal) together with a few incisions. The vase was then fired on its side on three shells, giving ochre naural ash depsits. Colour is a red/brown/ochre.
