High-fired heavy earthenware square dish on four feet, very freely made. Unglazed underneath. On the upper side is a dark brown glaze, largely covered by yellow/honey glaze. Incised decoration to the brown glaze. Spot of blue.


History note: Bought by Shakeshaft from the 'Slipware' exhibition at the Rufford Craft Centre. 9th August 2004
